A corporate foundation dedicated to the prevention, health and protection of vulnerable people is being created after 15 years of commitment by Crédit Agricole Assurances in these areas, which are at the heart of its Societal Project.
Through its Foundation, Crédit Agricole Assurances pursues and amplifies its actions by supporting useful and concrete projects in the regions, through financial sponsorship, in kind and skills.
These commitments have already made it possible to support initiatives as closely as possible to local needs, in particular through an annual call for projects dedicated to carers, which has supported nearly 250 actions in fifteen editions. More recently, the company has also become an institutional partner of the association France Parkinson.
The creation of this foundation takes place in a context where public interest structures are facing increasing challenges in terms of funding and sustainability. It aims to strengthen and structure this commitment over time, focussing on two priorities:
– prevent and reduce health risks,
– and protect the vulnerable.
Nicolas Denis, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Assurances, emphasises: “This Foundation reflects a clear vision: to put insurance at the service of social progress and health. By structuring our commitment around the prevention and protection of vulnerable populations, we fully assume our role as a responsible, useful and committed actor in the territories.”
