Our diversity policy aims to strengthen diversity in all professions and at all levels of our organization, by promoting inclusion and gender diversity.

We are committed to gender diversity with the implementation of an ambitious action plan that aims to:

  • Increase the proportion of women in our governing bodies
  • Continue raising awareness among all our employees
  • Support the transformation of our managerial culture.

In 2023, the amount of women promoted within the Crédit Agricole S.A. group was 59.3% versus 58.5% in 2022.

This is proof that we are continuing our commitment to furthering professional equality between women and men, thanks especially to the signing of agreements on questions such as equity in recruitment, training, promotion and remuneration, as well as work-life balance.

To help reduce the unjustified pay gap between women and men, a gender equality index has been created under the law of 5 September 2018 on the freedom to choose one’s professional future.

This index makes it possible to measure progress in this area and, if necessary, to implement corrective actions. On the strength of its commitments and initiatives in terms of professional equality, Crédit Agricole S.A. once again obtained scores on 31 December 2023 that exceeded the requirements of the regulations:

  • 97/100 for the Crédit Agricole S.A. economic and social unit
  • Between 83 and 97/100 for other Crédit Agricole S.A. entities

The Global Agreement of 9 October 2023 also provides for concrete measures applicable at each stage of the career path to ensure fair treatment for men and women.
