Crédit Agricole Assurances strengthens its loan offer with an unprecedented advance on the market: people with breast, prostate or testicular cancer can access loan insurance without surcharge or exclusion, from the diagnosis, as long as the life prognosis is not engaged.
This major development gives them access to real estate, professional or consumer credit, with the same guarantees as all other borrowers. The inclusive offer is available in all Regional Banks and LCL, to ensure easy access for all customers concerned.
Direct impact for thousands of patients and their families
According to data from the National Cancer Institute:
- In France, more than 430,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year
- Breast cancer affects nearly 60,000 people a year, the first cancer in women.
- Prostate cancer affects about 50,000 new cases annually, the first cancer in men.
- Testicular cancer, although less common, affects about 2,000 young men each year, mostly between the ages of 15 and 35.
Inclusion as a driver: moving forward despite the disease
“Being an insurer means being present at every moment, where our customers need us, especially when uncertainty sets in. Our mission is to be this trusted partner who accompanies, protects and reassures, so that everyone can move forward and realise their projects, whatever the challenges. With this enhanced offer, we are affirming our commitment to inclusion: enabling everyone to access the protection and support they deserve.” Nicolas Denis, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Assurances.
