As Intern Fund Distribution you will be part of the Fund Distribution Services department, which consists of 4 teams: Client Services Fund Execution, Fund Agent, Transfer Agent and Issuing & Paying Agent. The departments work closely together and your responsibilities will overlap the different teams.

Job description:

In this challenging internship you will learn about the operational activities around distribution of investment funds, on both the investor side and Fund side.

To start you will learn about the operational processes on the receiving side of the instructions acting on behalf of the funds, where communications are mostly standardized, but where complexity is caused by the differences between several fund structures and regulatory obligations. 

Another focus area of the team is taking care of queries regarding order execution in non-listed funds. In this market, standardization is not yet common and many funds still have a wide variety of communication channels. This results in a great diversity, dynamism and complexity in communication methods one hand and on the other, a clear and transparent communication to the client is mandatory.  

Within the department you will learn the ins- and outs of fund trading business and for initiatives to analyze how we can make things run faster, better and more efficient.

Your profile

A suitable candidate for this position meets the following profile:

• You follow a study at bachelor degree preferably a financial study
• You are eager to learn, analytic, flexible and keep calm in stressful situations
• You are a team player with the capability to operate on your own
• You have interest in financial services and banking
• You are fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and a strong communicator in English

Language skills required:

• Dutch
• English
