Job description

Transaction Banking Services


Key Responsibilities:

·        Client relationship management, both internal and external (across departments)
·        Customer Account Management – balance and facility monitoring, payment authorisations
·        To act as the principal interface between the Account / Relationship Managers and the various Operational Departments
·        To establish a strong relationship with allocated clients on a day to day operational basis
·        To add value to the client relationship by identifying solutions in order to provide a sustained quality of service.
·        Ad hoc initiatives requested by Team Leader and Manager
·         
Account Maintenance:

·        Providing account documentation where requested by relationship managers
·        Retention and update of mandates
·        General account enquiries

Client balance/facility monitoring:

·        Authorisation of credits and debits within account and mandate instruction guidelines
·        Authorisation of manual client and departmental payments
·        Authorisation of Deposits
·        Authorisation of automated / SWIFT payments
·        Authorisation of all outward transfers within balance or facility
·        Authorisation all L/C applications within facility
·        Authorisation of all daily charge items within value balance of facility
·        Authorisation of Guarantee Requests within facility
·        Authorisation of Standby L/C requests within facility
·        First receipt of all inward funds for processing (bar SWIFT)
·        Co-ordination and logging of client enquiries

Miscellaneous:

·        Re-route Swift Alliance messages
·        Reset users in Swift Alliance system
·        Process all unclaimed balance requests (Dormant Accounts)
·        Opening of Nostro and DDA Accounts for UK in ISIS
·        Scanning of Account related documentation
·        Nostro Investigations within Corona for FTO and TBS activities
·        Daily review of SCV reports (UK Deposit scheme)



Receivables and Supply Chain Finance

Key responsibilities:

·        Assist in processing our participation into Supply Chain Finance Programs / Offers (Receivables and Supply Chain Finance solutions, Cash Management)
·        Review the Master Risk Participation Agreement
·        Review offer and acceptance for specific funding request (uncommitted)
·        Review spreadsheet with list of payment undertaking (receivables)
·        Liaise with Platforms to book in BO systems
·        Liaise with Transaction Banking Middle Office where necessary
·        Review post funding flows and Nostro breaks
