Main duties details

As a hands-on Delivery Manager and Run Specialist Lead, you will be part of an international team focused on running and supporting the bank’s FX and Money market Platform developed around Calypso, a software package from Nasdaq, and in-house solutions. You will join the Post Trade IT team of CMI in Singapore.

 

Oversee and Supports the team on achieving its objectives on both development delivery of software systems and its production stability within the organization unit

·       Remove all blocking issues going beyond the team’s authority or requiring support from other teams

·       Inspire the team on new practices and quality standards, in strong partnership with the Technical Leader

·       Be accountable for Production stability of his scope

·       Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization.

·       Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.

·       Oversee study and support decision process for acquisition of external software or component whenever relevant and needed.

·       Ensure the good culture and mindset in term of compliance and security matters across all team members

Coaches the team to maximize autonomy and Continuous Improvement

·       Ensure actions are taken during Retrospectives and delivered

·       Follow performances indicators (team velocity, quality, motivation)

 

Facilitate Team delivery

·       Challenges requirements according to constraints

·       Ensures User Stories are written & the quality of the stories and acceptance criteria

Ensures reporting for the team

·       Ensure budget consumption transparency with his aligned Product Owner on assigned project

·       Manage delivery, production reporting with the PO

 

Support domain strategy and interface with business

·       Interface with effective communication with business stakeholders to align their needs and collect their feedback

·       Interface with head office division (“filiere”) covered by these activities

·       Foster innovation and change management aligned with global CMI strategy

·       Organize the work/activities of the teams to ensure the stability of the production throughout the following pillars: application monitoring, incident and requests management, problem management and continuous improvement

 

 

Secondary duties

·       Serving as backup person for absent ISAP/CMI Manager when required

·       Other duties may be assigned

 

The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication with rest of project/support team.

 

  • Minimum level of study
    Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    Training / Specialization
    degree and above  in relevant specialities
     
    Mandatory·   Experience on Calypso versions v16 to v18.·   In depth knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, ScheduledTask, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages / Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate action, Filters, Reporting Framwork, Reconciliation features.·   Understanding of financial assets (FX, Money market...) and trade lifecycle.·   Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.·   Experience in interfacing Calypso with external systems.·   Hands-on experience in implementation projects. Good knowledge in Java, Linux/Unix, Database (E.g. Sybase, Oracle), PL/SQL, Middleware (E.g. MQ Series), File Transfer (E.g. CFT) and batch/Job Scheduling (Control-M).
     Good to haveUnderstanding of trade life cycle, financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD…)
    Experience in Murex or Calypso
    Exposure to Capital Market FO/BO system (E.g. Summit, Kondor+, Murex…)
      Other Professional Skills and Mind-set§  Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both team mates and management§  Strong analytical and problem solving skills§  Organization management skill to readapt organization when necessary§  Proficient software development life cycle§  Appetite to follow technology trend and participate to communities§  Passion for sharing expertise and grow team members’s skills§  Interest in mentoring and guiding junior team members on the path of high quality deliverables.
