Job description

Within the Capital Markets IT (CMI) department of Global IT (GIT) which manages the information system for capital markets activities (pre-trade, post-trade, risks), the Strutured & Sales (Sales) Filière covers application support, maintenance and developments of the application information system.

Our missions are around:

  • Pre-Trade workflows with multiple Sales-Traders applications dedicated by product and a global blotter to centralize all the transactions done in one tool.
  • A global application to monitor the commercial activity of Capital Markets, called Omega, in coordination with the Marketing/Sales/e-business/Middle Office departments. This application is used by Sales to manage their transactions, their sales margins and their performance.
  • It is a central system; it covers all financial products and transactions carried out by CACIB with a commercial margin and all over the world.
  • Another essential activity to the sales business around regulatory requirements; we are in charge of the necessary tools to meet the requirements of the PRIIPS, MIFID II and ESG regulations.

As a Developer Sales, you ensure the consistency of technological environments, and their proper integration with all the building blocks of the information system in accordance with the bank's security policy. The applications concerned are the result of internal developments around pre-trade Sales-Trades workflow.

Functionally, this involves supporting the Sales teams in the development of new functions and the improvement of existing ones.

You encourage initiative and innovation within the team while ensuring compliance with standards and design.

You report to the IT Division Manager of the Structured & Sales Filière based in Montréal.

Application development by continually optimizing performance and ensuring stability

  • Technical specifications

  • Documentation (confluence wiki)

  • Production and operating procedure

  • Level 3 support

Guarantee the technical quality as well as the maintainability of the applications developed

  • Promote continuous improvement of our software based on agility, Software Craftsmanship and SecDevOps
  • Promote systematic testing practices (TDD / BDD / DDD)

  • Minimum level of study
    Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

    • DevOps experience (GitOps/Docker/Kubernetes), messaging and monitoring/alerting tools (Elasticsearch / Kibana)
