As Lead Developer on the Algo Trading project within the Bonds sector, you will coordinate and support the work of the Montreal-based team. You'll also ensure smooth coordination with the teams based in Paris and London.

You will participate in the development and maintenance of trading algorithms and the related ecosystem.

 

YOUR MISSION

You will participate in the development of the algo trading platform for Bonds, Repo, Credit and UST.

You will provide level 3 support on this perimeter.

 

Management

-        You will supervise the team of developers based in Montreal

-        You will participate in the coordination of projects carried out between Paris, London and Montreal

 

Development

-        Produce quality code in compliance with CMI guidelines (CI/CD, code coverage...).

-        Participate actively in code reviews.

-        Provide input on technologies used in the algorithmic trading framework.

-        Monitor technological developments.

 

Be a partner to the business

-        Support the business in implementing new algorithms, gathering information on their needs.

-        Ensure that new algorithms fit into the existing architecture, and that they can be supported by the Run teams.

-        Report proactively and transparently all development risks and problems encountered, and propose mitigation solutions.

    Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    Training / Specialization
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
    You have experience of 6 years or more in a real-time market and systems application development function. An experience on the Bonds asset class would be a plus.

    ·        Knowledge of pre-trade and eTrading systems·        Knowledge of capital markets activities·        Knowledge of bond products·        IT knowledge or good IT sensitivity·        Good relationship·        Diplomacy·        Rigor and sense of organization·        Spirit of analysis and synthesis·        Verbal and written communication skills in English and French required (You will need to service Anglophone clients and work with Anglophone colleagues)
