Job description

Duties and responsibilities 

PROGRAM MANAGEMENT :

  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM):
    - Strategic Programs: Manage transformation projects including new insurance regulations, business Development, and partnership initiatives.- - IT Infrastructure Upgrades: Oversee upgrades of critical back office and front office tools, claims, finance tools, etc.
    - IT Transformation Programs: Collaborate with Digital Workplace and CA-GIP (IT Group provider) on cloud migration (M365, Azure) and large-scale security projects.
    - Strategic Roadmap & Portfolio:
    Contribute to the project pipeline and roadmap for CACI, attending partnership and strategic committees

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT :
    - Project Management Oversight: Manage complex cross-functional business projects from initiation to completion with effective governance and a streamlined steering committee structure, utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies to meet quality targets.
    - Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams across multiple geographic borders and time zones, ensuring all departmental needs are addressed and resources are engaged for clear deliverables while adhering to deadlines. Challenge and guide teams to implement requirements successfully.
    - Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders, including the IT group provider (CA-GIP), Risks, Security and Legal (headquarters).
    - Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation, including business cases, impact analyses, schedules, Risk logs, RACI and reports.
    - Risk, Issue, and Dependency Management: Address issues, assess and manage risks, handle dependencies, and control changes effectively. Escalate as needed and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track, facilitating decision-making by presenting necessary information.
    - Testing Strategy : document and coordinate the UAT testing
    - Resource and Budget Management: Oversee resources and budget for programs and projects, coordinating training and testing prior to project implementation.
    - Change Management: promote change understanding, document training materials and provide ongoing support

  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:
    - Relationships with Headquarters Teams: Maintain and nurture key relationships with various headquarters teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication:
    - Security Team and CISO: Serve as the primary liaison with the security team and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to address and mitigate security risks, ensuring alignment with Group policies.
    - Risk Management Team: Coordinate project risk assessments
    - IT Group Provider (CA-GIP): Manage the relationship with the IT Group Provider, fostering effective communication and collaboration, including direct engagement with CA-GIP Managers to ensure IT services meet organizational needs.
    - Digital Workplace Team (CAA): Collaborate with the Digital Workplace team to enhance user experience and support

- Oversee IT Budget Across Departments :
- Manage the overall IT budget: Collaborate with department heads and managers to monitor spending and identify budgetary needs, ensuring efficient resource allocation across all departments in line with headquarters directives.
- Oversee budget approval and release processes
- Organize Internal Budget Committees and contribute to Headquarters Committees
- Coordinate internal budget committees
- Actively participate in headquarters budget committees
- Report to Executive Committee Members:
- Budget Reporting: detailed reports to the executive committee, highlighting budget status, consumption, and forecasts. Provide insights into potential risks and opportunities, ensuring that the committee is well-informed for strategic decision-making

    Minimum level of study
    Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    Training / Specialization
    • Third-level qualification in Business or IT.
    • Project Management Qualification: PRINCE2, PMP.



    • Minimum of 5 years in a project management role, with experience delivering complex cross-functional programs and projects.
    • Proven ability to lead geographically distributed project teams effectively.
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • High emotional intelligence and motivational skills.
    Minimum experience level
    6-10 years
    Skills needed
    • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with all organizational levels.

    • Proficiency in O365, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, and MS Project.
    • Fluency in French and English is required.
    • Some travel may be required.
    Languages
    Fluent English and French required (German is a plus).
