Job description

Within the M&P Business Line, the Content Marketing raison d’être is to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience and drive profitable customer action thanks to the ideation, creation and distribution of valuable, relevant and consistent content.

 The department  is in particular in charge of creating and disseminating Marketing content in close cooperation with digital marketing teams, Sales teams (D&W / IPN / FPN), Investment teams and the Amundi Investment Institute.

  • Actively contribute to the definition of the content strategy that elevates Amundi’s positioning and appeal for distributors and clients and drives measurable business outcomes (e.g. net sales, AUM growth, client engagement).
  •  Execute the content strategy by creating clear, engaging and compliance-ready content that brings Amundi’s investment themes, asset classes and funds to life across channels.
  • Support distribution and brand objectives by producing written and multimedia assets that educate, engage and convert target audiences (fund selectors, distribution, digital platforms, retail).

Reporting to the Head of International Content Marketing, your main missions will be:

· Proactively participate to the content strategy and editorial plan to ensure that they align with the business objectives and client demand.
· Contribute to articulate Amund’s positioning as a strategic/trusted partner (what makes us different) through a range of thought leadership articles, pitchbooks (theme/capability) and other content.
· Produce high-quality written and multimedia content: thought leadership articles, fund insights, web pages, blog posts, social posts, video scripts, podcast outlines, event slides and brochures or flyers.

Identify internal and external sources of information to build content and back it up with relevant data; work in cooperation with investment specialists, Amundi Investment Institute and other marketing teams within the company

·        Address a large scope of content themes: macro/markets, thought leadership, investment (across multiple asset classes / expertise / products). The organisation of the team might require to be particularly expert / in charge of some topics / asset classes and be considered as a “referent” within the team on those dimensions in addition to the general contribution to the teams.
·        Turn portfolio manager interviews, research papers, market commentary and product information into audience‑appropriate outputs.
·        Repurpose long-form content into short‑form social, email copy, slides and other sales assets.
·        Adapt content tone/complexity/structure for different client segments (fund selectors, distribution, digital platforms, retail) and channels (web, social, email, events, training modules).
·        Know and apply basic SEO/GEO best practices to content for website use
·        Track basic content performance metrics and use insights to improve engagement and discoverability.
·        Respect the regulation to create compliance-ready contents and take care of the legal/compliance review and approval using the corporate tools and interacting with the legal and compliance teams.
·        Contribute to benchmarking: constantly keep an eye on how competitors drive their content strategy and production
Contribute and occasionally coordinate transversal projects that are relevant for the business line and to achieve the goals of the team.

    ·        Over 5 years’ experience preferably working as an investment writer or with another marketing role within an asset management or investment management company·        Investment knowledge: understanding of financial markets and investment processes

    Skills needed
    ·        A genuine interest and understanding of financial markets coupled with the desire and aptitude to make a difference in connecting the business with our investors
    ·        Excellent written and editorial skills in English (preferably also in French) with the ability to adapt the content narrative to different client targets (professional and retail investors) and different media (articles, websites contents, pitchbooks, brochures / flyers, social media, videos, etc.)
    ·        Attention to details and proven ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
    ·        Ability to inspire and lead transversal projects with different teams to deliver on commercial targets
    ·        Strategic and analytical thinking: marketing requires a lot of research-based analysis to define the different needs and challenges of investors (curiosity, reading, problem solving mindset, critical thinking, market research)
    ·        Creativity: self-starter mindset with the ability to think outside of the box, challenge the norm with new innovate ideas to drive business and address the evolving needs of clients, be able to bring a new tone in our content approach
    ·        Embrace AI, to make the most of it in creating content and adapting it to different client segments
    ·        Be able to brief and drive an external vendor: part of our content creation or project driving is externalized, so it is key to be able to identify high quality vendors and to brief and drive them
