Job description

• Define the Department's vision, strategy and priorities, aligning the technological roadmap, core applications, data and digital platforms with the Company's objectives.
• Oversee the Application and Core Development (Cleva secure cores) and Platforms, Portals and Integration (Salesforce and Webmethods solutions) areas, ensuring the evolution and maintenance of solutions.
• Ensure the technical governance of solutions, including application architecture, development standards, API-first integration, DevSecOps practices and agile methodologies.
• Ensure the evolution of data architecture, ETL pipelines, data warehouse and reporting mechanisms, promoting quality, governance and availability of information.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for custom development, packages, data, and integration, ensuring operational capacity, continuous innovation, and compliance with service levels.
Define and monitor technical and operational metrics, KPIs, and SLAs, ensuring the stability, performance, and resilience of application solutions in coordination with other management structures.
• Perform budget management, contract management and supplier management associated with the department under your responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, insurance industry regulations and security and architecture requirements.
• Evaluate and approve technical requirements for new projects, ensuring their feasibility and architectural alignment.
• Promote technological innovation, automation, modern engineering, and continuous improvement of internal processes and practices.
• Ensure the vision and technological implementation of AI in the company.
• Lead the company's technological architecture.
• Report regularly to management and stakeholders, translating technical aspects for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor and develop department teams, ensuring planning, mentoring, career development, and motivation.
• Participate in committees and other forums with the ability to represent the technological component of management.

    Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    Training / Specialization
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar.
    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in at least one of the following roles: development, architecture, data, ERPs, core solutions; Salesforce, integration or portals.
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical team leadership.
    • Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams in complex technological environments.

    Skills needed
    • Proficiency in application architecture, software engineering, and modern development practices.
    • Proficiency in Core platforms, Integration, APIs, microservices, web services, API-first solutions, and portals (internal and customer).
    • Solid knowledge of data management, ETL pipelines, data warehousing, reporting, and data modelling.
    • Familiarity with development frameworks, .NET, Java, SQL, CI/CD tools, low-code and DevSecOps practices.
    • Knowledge of cloud (preferably Azure), including identity management, security, integrations and cloud-native applications.
    • Understanding of agile methodologies and product management practices.
    • Knowledge of IT governance processes and security standards.
    • Strong command of concepts of integration between internal and external systems, interoperability, and architecture standards.• Excellent leadership, communication and influence skills.
    • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to prioritise multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
    • Systemic vision, analytical and synthesis skills, and problem-solving orientation.

    - TOGAF or architecture certifications
    - Data management or integration certifications (e.g., Data Engineering)
    Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project/Similar tools.
