Job description

 

You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Hong-Kong as a junior developer. You will be part of the Global IT department (GIT) brings together all the IT departments in charge of developing and running Crédit Agricole CIB and Credit Agricole S.A.'s IT system and technological infrastructure.

CMI is seeking a Junior FO Application Developer to join the Asia RAD team as a V.I.E in Hong-Kong. The role of this team is to efficiently and quickly bring technical solution to our GDM trading desks and help them to achieve short to medium-term business goals. You will therefore contribute to the broader digital transformation agenda while building or enhancing innovative and resilient tools for the Front Office.

 

Your concrete missions will be the following: 

  • Technical SME: Closely engage with GMD Traders in Hong-Kong to understand their day to day needs and business development plans to proactively propose automation solution and existing tools/processes enhancement to increase efficiency ;
  • Agile Developer: Manage the full IT delivery lifecycle from requirement gathering to production live support including solution design and implementation following IT best practices and guidelines for safe and reliable systems ;
  • FO first line of support: Answer business urgent support requests in a timely manner ;
  • Strategic Thinker: Work closely with Asia peers and the central team in Europe to further consolidate the FO technical environment in a simple, cohesive and efficient platform ;
  • Technology Adoption: Integrate AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot in every aspect of your daily work to enhance development speed, business safety and deliveries quality.

 

 

To be eligible for a VIE:

- Be less than 28 years old

- Be graduated of Master Degree

- Be EU citizen

    You are postgraduate with a Master Degree from an University, a Business School or an Engineering science with a specialization in Computer science, AI, Finance, Mathematic.
    First experience of IT development for the financial industry is necessary

     Hard Skills :
    • C# and Python Development and CI/CD Tools ;
    • Finance/Mathematics modeling ;
    • Advanced proficiency in React.js and JavaScript for front-end development ;
    • Background in VBA Excel, with the ability to read and translate algorithm into modern tech stacks ;
    Soft Skills :
    • Self-Motivated & Autonomous ;
    • Team player ;
    • Good and synthetical communication ;
    • Meticulous and rigorous ;
    • Fast Learner.
    Languages
    Fluent English and French, Japanese (fluent is a plus)
