Job description

You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Sweden as a Coverage Analyst. Works under the guidance of the Head of Financial Institutions Coverage with a portfolio of clients.

 

Mission

Assist senior bankers in developing long-term and profitable global business relationships with major financial institutions, including banks, the public sector, insurance companies, pension funds, and asset managers.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

- Understand clients' strategy, financial position, and needs
- Acquire knowledge of the bank's product offering and its relevance to clients
- Ensure a healthy risk profile and align it with the bank's risk appetite

 

 

Compliance and Ethics

- Implement the banks’ compliance and KYC requirements in relation to the portfolio of clients and their business with the bank;

- Demonstrate a high sense of ethics

 

 

Senior Banker Support:

Prepare:

  • Marketing materials (pitches)
  • Client strategies/plans
  • Profitability analyses
  • Transaction documentation

 

 

Together with the Global Relationship Manager:

- formalize the Coverage and the Business Lines credit request

- Coordinate transactions and credit requests with the product areas and the international branches of the bank under the supervision of the Senior banker

- Participate in credit committees, enabling well informed decisions

 

Reporting:

 

- Prepare call reports
- Draft client live memos and support memos

To be eligible for a VIE : 

- Be less than 28 years old ;

- Be postgraduate of a Master degree ;

- Be EU citizen

    You are postgraduate of an University, Business school, Engineering/Computer science School.

     

     

    Preferred Specializations:

     

    Business Administration
    Economics
    Finance
    Accounting
    Capital Markets
    Preferably 1-2 yrs relevant working experience.

    Minimum experience level
    0-2 years
    Skills needed

    Hard skills :

     

    - Good knowledge in financial and risk analysis ; 

    - Proven understanding of the banking business with a strategic perspective ;

     

     

     

    Soft skills :

     

    - Natural commercial drive
    - Ability to communicate clearly and easily
    - Ability to analyze and summarize
    - Rigour, precision and sense of organization
    - Apprehension of results, priorities and deadlines
    - Capacity to cooperate / Ability to work across disciplines

     Language skills and the level expected:Fluency in spoken and written English
    Command of one of the Scandinavian or Finnish languages is a plus

    IT tools
    Strong MS Office in particular Excel, Word, Power point
