The 3rd edition of the Innov&Act challenge, organised by Crédit Agricole Assurances, recognised 3 start-ups around the theme of prevention and detection of health risks in personal insurance.

Teale, a solution dedicated to the mental health of employees, students and retirees, and Five Lives, a cognitive decline prevention platform, were elected by the jury.

The third, HumanFab, a digital service designed to improve physical fitness in companies, was voted the favourite among employees.

For Nicolas Denis, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Assurances: “Health, in particular mental health, is a growing concern in French society. As a universal bancassurer, we are responsible for innovating and proposing new solutions for the benefit of our customers and society. The Innov&Act Challenge has been a valuable opportunity for several years to enrich our offering thanks to the diversity and relevance of the projects carried out by startups.”

This new edition, marked by a strong mobilisation, gathered 76 applications. Of these, 10 projects were selected and received personalised support from Crédit Agricole Assurances experts and mentors to refine their projects. A forum was then organised, allowing employees to meet startups and frame their proposals for concrete use cases.

A final dedicated to innovation

The competing startups presented their projects to a jury chaired by Nicolas Denis, and composed of Crédit Agricole Assurances executives and experts as well as prevention, health and innovation professionals.

The three winners will receive a financial reward of €12,000 (first prize), €6,000 (second prize) and €3,000 (third prize). They will also have the opportunity to test their solutions within Crédit Agricole Group distributors.
