Job Objectives: 

  • Organise, co-ordinate and lead projects between all departments to ensure smooth progress and timely completion.
  • Work with the operational departments identify areas where IT developments (or more efficient practices) are required and work with Paris/Luxembourg offices to achieve these developments.
  • Write procedures on new processes as they are rolled out to the operational teams.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Manage a project from start to finish by defining and implementing all the resources necessary for its success in keeping with the quality/cost/time requirements, in line with project target.
  • Review legal documents in relation to the launch of new funds or prospective clients to ensure that the IT platform can support them.
  • Co-ordinate the launch of new funds with the departments in Dublin and Luxemburg.
  • Submit "Client request forms" for development requests. These can driven by either a client request or by an operational requirement.
  • Create and maintain detailed uniform project plans for all projects and organise project meetings to assign project tasks and monitor progress.
  • Manage the collection and processing of client requests (internal and external) to meeting the quality requirements as soon as possible.
  • Escalate problems that could threaten timely project completion.

Systems Enhancements

  • Analyse all the client flows to ensure optimal use of the systems.
  • Work with the operational departments and the support teams in Paris/Luxembourg and the wider CACEIS Group to automate processes, identify business development needs and implement solutions for these needs.
  • Be up-to-date on Group development and implementation of new tools to ensure CACEIS Ireland contributes to the business analysis and migration processes.
  • Identify systems enhancements, new functionalities and liaise with the relevant Luxembourg teams to ensure requirements are met prior to installation of new systems.

Systems Support

  • Responsible for supporting operational staff in resolving ongoing issues in the use of IT systems.
  • Support the operational teams and other support departments during special events, e.g. take on / liquidation.
  • Work on information systems tools in accordance with the permissions defined to make modifications and/or corrections to data/parameters as needed, in compliance with the defined strategy (in conjunction with the business lines).
  • Set up of new funds structures in the relevant systems.
  • Test and co-ordinate system upgrades and act as an intermediary with vendors if required.


  • Provide training to both new and existing employees on the efficient and correct use of the business applications.
  • Choose and implement teaching methods and techniques adapted to the content and format of training actions with the goal of giving participants better support as they learn.
  • Issue procedures to operational staff on new systems and processes.

      • Ability to communicate credibly at both management and operational level – one to one and at meetings.
      • Focused on efficiency, quality and risk control.
      • Comprehensive knowledge of the funds industry (including the alternative funds industry) and fund administration.
      • Awareness of current business issues and the regulatory environment.

      At least three years’ experience in an operations environment within the funds industry with experience in Transfer Agency highly desirable.Experience of running projects and co-ordinating resources to successful completion.
