  • Ensure the availability and integrity of databases on a daily basis
  • Proposal of architecture in line with business needs and IT standards
  • Handling and resolution of incidents and problems reported by level 1
  • Mastery of the evolution strategy and platform changes
  • Proposal of solutions to optimize the existing infrastructure and processes
  • Sybase ASE administration
  • DBMS tuning and development of MCO scripts on Sybase
  • Significant work on the tools and scripts necessary for the activity of the DBA department
  • Recommendation and best practice documents
  • Participation in strategy documents
  A dual expertise in Sybase and either MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL would be a significant advantage.
