The practice tests are the same as the tests that shortlisted applicants for a job offer will have to take during our recruitment process. We recommend that you carry out the tests under real-time conditions to ensure that the “Test the tests” section is as useful as possible: check that your Internet connection is working properly. Find a quiet place, switch off your mobile phone and keep away from anything that could disturb your concentration.

There are three test examples available:

  • Measurement of numerical reasoning
  • Measurement of verbal reasoning
  • Discovery of roles and interrelationships

Click here to discover and practice these tests.

  • In principle, any computer will do. You just need an Internet connection and a browser (for example Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox). For the tests themselves, you must have Flash Player installed. Check your Flash Player version to get the latest updates.
You cannot take the tests with a smartphone.

For optimal viewing of the tests, we recommend that you set your screen resolution to at least 1024 x 768 pixels and maximise your browser window.

  • You do not need any specific skills to do these tests. Just follow our tips and practice using the examples at the beginning of each test.

  • First of all, it is essential to make sure that you are not interrupted or distracted while doing the tests. In particular, make sure you turn off your mobile phone or landline.

To take the tests, choose the time of the day when you feel most alert. For example, avoid taking the tests after a long day at school or a strenuous sports session.

  • For some tests, a pencil and paper may be come in handy. If this is the case, the instructions will say so. Read the instructions at the beginning of each test carefully to make sure that you have the required equipment when you take the tests.

  • There will be four or five tests:

    A short-term memory test
    Inductive logical reasoning
    Verbal reasoning
    Discovery of roles and interrelationships

English depending on the type of position

  • Depending on the position for which you are applying, we will examine different skills: numerical, verbal, reasoning, learning ability, etc.

The instructions are specified for each test. Don’t look for any traps, there are none!

We use the tests only for skills that we have defined as essential for the given functions, and which can be assessed through testing.

  • All the tests have the same structure. When you enter a new test, you will first have access to the instructions. They describe the test objectives, its structure and how it works.
Next, you are taken to an interactive sequence that explains the test in greater detail, thanks to simulation that allows you to see whether you understand how the test works. Follow these instructions carefully.
You’ll then be prompted to practise with a few examples to make sure you have understood the instructions.
No time will be counted during the instruction and example stage. You can spend as much time as you like on this section until you are sure you understand how the test works.
Finally, there is a last page of recommendations that sums up the key points of the instructions, before you enter the test proper. Then you enter the test.
The countdown begins as soon as you start the test. When the time is up, the test stops automatically. You can always check the time remaining on the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  • Once you start the tests, you’ll no longer be able to interrupt them.

In most cases, the tests last 30 to 45 minutes. You must therefore make sure that you will not be disturbed during this time.

If you have several tests to take, you can take them in more than one session. However, check the date or deadline for taking the tests in the email that we sent you, depending on the job you are applying for.

  • The purpose of giving a limited amount of time to take a test is not to assess your stress management. It is for methodological reasons. If there is no time limit, all applicants would end up finding the right answers and everyone would have the same result. The test would therefore be unnecessary.
It is quite normal that you do not succeed in answering all the exercises of the test in the allotted time. The tests are usually structured in such a way that most applicants reach about halfway.

  • Try to solve the problems quickly but carefully. To do this, you should not go faster than what you are used to, during your studies or in your daily life. This will help you not to increase the number of careless mistakes. This could adversely impact your overall results, since incorrect answers are usually deducted from the correct answers.

  • Sometimes a test may suddenly freeze, for example, because the internet browser has accidentally shut down. If this happens, go to the “Contact” section where you will find useful information on how to contact us and unblock your test.

  • First of all, you must know that you are liable to prosecution if you do not complete the tests by yourself. If we find out that you were assisted by another person to take the tests, we will stop the recruitment process immediately.
Moreover, if you pass the tests and are invited to continue the recruitment process, you will be asked to retake part of the tests during the interviews.
There is therefore absolutely no point in trying to cheat.

  • If you find that you are unable to pass the tests due to your disability, please contact us directly by going to “Contact” and we will try to find a solution for you.
