Mobilised right from the first days of the pandemic like all Crédit Agricole Group entities, Crédit Agricole Assurances has been supporting its customers in coping with this unprecedented health crisis and is reaffirming its role as a responsible insurer, investor and company.
It has thus scaled up its support to the various players hit by the crisis through:
- An unprecedented support scheme of more than €210 million for all policyholders who have taken out comprehensive professional insurance with business interruption cover (professionals and farmers, i.e. more than 50,000 policyholders)
- A €47.5 million support scheme for healthcare professionals with a €45 million package for policyholders who have taken out a comprehensive professional insurance with business interruption cover (i.e. nearly 30,000 policyholders) and a solidarity fund endowed with €2.5 million for health workers mobilised in the fight against the spread of the epidemic.
- Contribution of €38.4 million to the solidarity fund set up by the public authorities for microbusinesses and self-employed professionals of the sectors hardest hit by the crisis, in particular cafés, hotels and restaurants.
- A €250 million investment package to support economic recovery and strengthen the health sector in France.
- A contribution of €5 million in favour of solidarity actions for the elderly announced by the Crédit Agricole group.
