Job description

Key Responsibilities

The intern would work alongside the EMTN desk trader and assist with the following:

· Prepare the daily morning valuation contributions of CA-CIB arranged Private Placements including interest rate and credit components.

· Run the EoD P/L and explanations

· Monitor risk positions and make sure they remain within the prescribed limits of the book

· Provide prices when sales are requesting update during the day

· Answer sales & support functions requests regarding executions and valuations

· Support the trader in charge of secondary trading for the testing of new features

 

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

· Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

      Prior training experience in financial products, derivatives, physical or related trading/risk management activities is desirable but not required
