Summary

Within the Credit Agricole CIB’s Global Markets Division (GMD), the research department supports the bank’s business with the publication of reports (including market updates, forecasts or views) and regular meetings with clients. The coverage is quite broad with dedicated macro, interest rates, FX or credit teams. Within the credit research team, we are two analysts covering the covered bond and SSA (Supranational, sub-sovereign and agency debt) markets with the Head of the team based in Frankfurt and the other analyst based in London.

Within this team, the new intern will play an important role in supporting our daily/weekly tasks including the preparation of the various publications and supporting the analysts in the various client requests. The position will also entail working on more long-term projects related to data and the improvement of our research offer. Over time, the intern will be able to gain a good and valuable understanding of the covered bond and SSA products as well as what it means to work in a sell-side analyst role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recurring flow of publications (prepare the documents, charts and table updates etc.)
  • Maintain and improve our databases
  • Help with various projects on the development of new data products and the improvement of our tools
  • Assist internal stakeholders with requests related to covered bond and SSA markets

 

Role Requirements

  • Ability to adapt and quickly get up to speed with the most important tasks
  • Precision and diligence in working with large amounts of data
  • An ‘Entrepreneurial mind-set’ with the capacity to understand the products and their needs and to come up with new ideas is very welcomed
  • Competencies in Excel 
  • Ability to prioritise and to meet tight deadlines
