Job description

-  Database management:

Creating, maintaining and updating the internal thermal coal exposure and decarbonisation database to help monitor and track thermal coal phase out plans, decarbonization information, engagements and related information.

 

-   Research:

Conducting indepth climate assessment analyses for companies, including but not limited to their thermal coal phase out plans. The intern will also be conducting assessment of companies developing new thermal coal assets or expanding thermal coal capacity.

 

-   Engagement:

Conducting engagement with companies on their thermal coal phase out and climate transition plans (including the creation and sending of engagement letters/questionnaires/recommendations).

  • Enagaging with issuers to communicate Amundi’s Thermal Coal Policy as well as communicating best practice feedback to issuers on decarbonisation.
  • Writing of engagement reports for publication.
  • Following up on engagement campaigns around Thermal Coal Exit And Net-Zero.

 

-  Other:

Developing & using tools (Excel, VBA) to support non-financial analyses of different issuers.

  • Participation to daily activities of ESG team.
