Job description

The department

The CSI department is responsible for development and maintenance of Compliance, Referentials, Counterparty/Credit Risks and Finance applications used by worldwide users, composed of the following divisions:

·   Compliance IT handles Business Compliance & Financial Security application portfolio, based on internal and regulatory models
·   Referentials IT covers Know Your Customer processes & Counterparty referential management
·   Credit Risk IT covers Front office Applications, Credit Decision Processing tool, Global Authorization Repository system and Default History Data Base
·   Counterparty Risk IT handles applications responsible for risk data collection, risk calculation and monitoring for CACIB worldwide
·   Finance IT is responsible for applications handling financial accounting and liquidity and yield financial risks for CACIB worldwide.

CSI applications are in-house developments.

Main responsibilities

As a Business Analyst you will be:

Responsible for the requirement specification of the target IT solution
·   Liaise with IT business lines contacts for clarification and understanding of requirements.
·   Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints with technical lead and business analyst contributions
·   Prepare and present functional aspects of changes/evolutions to developers

Responsible for the functional testing of development
·   Develop tests strategy in coordination with Technical leads / Business Analysts
·   Test the solution to ensure that solution implemented by the team corresponds to the requirement
·   Participate in the regression testing phase, by making sure that new releases don’t open new issues
·   Liaise with the users and help qualifying the issues during the User Acceptance Testing phase

Involved in support of application for functional incident
·   3rd  level support work on request escalated from level 2
·   Reproduce, make first analysis and investigate verifying codification and data
·   Analyze and/or solve functional problems in coordination with developers


Qualifications and Profile

The ideal candidate should 0 to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst and be interested in learning the corporate IT banking environment, with a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant specialities.

Education & Work Experience:

·     Fresher or Junior Level (less than 2 years of professional experience)
·     Master or Bachelor’s degree in relevant specialties
