Job description

As a Performance, Risk & Compliance Reporting Officer at CACEIS NL, you will be part of a dedicated team of 11 professionals committed to delivering insightful analyses and reports. Together, you ensure that the performance, risks, and compliance of investment portfolios for both Dutch and international clients are made transparent. In this role, you will work closely with involved colleagues across various departments and international teams.

What will you do as a Senior Performance, Risk & Compliance Reporting Officer?

  • Calculate the performance, risk, and compliance of investment portfolios.
  • Prepare and manage performance, risk, and ESG reports.
  • Analyse returns and identify deviations from benchmarks.
  • Onboard and support new clients by mapping out their needs.
  • Answering questions and helping less experienced colleagues.
  • Maintain relationships with internal departments and other CACEIS entities.
  • Conduct compliance analyses based on investment policies.
  • Communicate with clients about achieved returns and compliance breaches.
  • Contribute to improving the quality of services by analysing processes and defining enhancements.
  • Recognize and trace data discrepancies within the chain by understanding calculation methodologies, thereby providing input to improve overall chain processes.

What do you need to get started as a Senior Performance, Risk & Compliance Reporting Officer?

  • A completed bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, econometrics, or finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably with experience in data analysis (e.g., experience with performance and risk analyses).
  • A strong affinity for numbers, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to interpret data.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investing is a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis and tools such as VBA, Python, and SimCorp Dimension is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • You have an affinity for project-based work.
  • You are a natural connector that can effectively bring together various stakeholders.
  • You are a true team player who is customer-oriented, flexible, and resilient under pressure, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • You are available for 32-36 hours per week.
