Job description

 

Amundi Technology is an Amundi entity in charge of the design, development, business development and support of Amundi technology solutions for the savings and asset management industry. The 900 professionals, located between Paris and Dublin, are also in charge of Amundi's IT.

 

Amundi Technology's journey began by crafting solutions for our own success. We designed the ALTO platforms that span a wide spectrum of investment strategies and asset classes. In 2021, Amundi Technology has been created to accelerate the design, development, promotion and commercialization of the ALTO platforms. The ALTO suite is composed of 5 offers: ALTO Investment (portfolio management tool), ALTO Wealth & Distribution (discretionary management and advisory solution), ALTO ESR (Employee Savings and Retirement Solution), ALTO Sustainability, ALTO Asset Servicing.

 

Within Amundi Technology, the sales department is dedicated to drive growth of sales new clients and revenues.  This role stands within the new business team and constitutes a  hunting sales role. Account management of existing clients is not part of this role, as client relationship management is managed by dedicated client relationship managers.


In this context, reporting to the Continental Europe sales director, your main tasks will be:

  • Identify and target prospective clients within the collective Investment actors across the DACH countries, including asset managers, insurers, pension funds, family offices with BtoB propositions.
  • Develop and manage the sales process to achieve revenue targets, including prospecting, lead generation and closing opportunities.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Amundi ALTO Investment Technology solutions and services and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts, understanding their business challenges and positioning our solutions as the optimal choice.
  • In strong team work with pre sales team, conduct thorough needs assessments and solution demonstrations, customizing presentations to address the specific requirements and pain points of each client.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, pre-sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the local industry and ecosystem, providing valuable insights to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Ensure a clear reporting at European level through internal governance and processes in place within the team. 

 

The position could be Paris or Munich based.

    • Training / Specialization
    • University/ Engineering school/ Business schoolBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
      • Proven track record of success in financial technology sales / solution selling approach with a focus on collective Investment: asset management or pension funds or insurance.
      • Strong understanding of the asset management market across the German speaking countries of Europe, including key players, industry trends, and regulatory landscape.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
      • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
      • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
      • Fluency in French and/or English; German is required.
      • Willingness to travel to France and internationally as needed.
