Divisional Overview
The Risk division of Credit Agricole Combined US Operations (“CUSO”) participates in the implementation of Credit Agricole SA Group risk management standards while ensuring US specificities and requirements are properly taken into account.
The CUSO Risk team manages a range of risk capabilities to ensure US and Group leadership have a comprehensive and aggregate view of the US risk profile, leads enterprise-wide risk management practices across the US entities and reports to the US Risk Committee on significant risk exposure and related controls, changes to risk appetite, risk management strategies, results of risk management reviews, and emerging risks.
Job Summary
CUSO EWRM interacts closely with all areas of Risk, as well as with various groups across the US entities, Head Office and Group.
Responsibilities
CUSO ERM Framework
· Support the Head of EWRM and work with the broader team to execute strategic initiatives as the CUSO ERM program expands.
· Drive continuous enhancement and oversight of the CUSO Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and ensure processes are incorporated in 1LoD and 2LoD processes.
· Drive performance and governance of enterprise-level risk processes including Risk Identification: Top and Emerging Risk.
· Support the steering of local risk initiatives related ESG and Climate Risk and ensure proper linkage with existing risk processes such Emerging Risk, Regulatory Watch.
· Lead CUSO policy documents governance, and coordinate and provide input on transversal risk policies and procedures, including CUSO EWRM framework, Risk Appetite, etc.
· Support the development of training materials to be rolled out throughout the organization.
Regulatory Watch-Change Management
· Lead regulatory watch on topics related to risk activities, providing analysis and advices regarding the impacts of new or amended Laws, Rules, Regulations and their translation into policies and procedures.
· Maintain and update inventory of Laws, Rules and Regulation related to defined risk management activities.
· Maintain knowledge of existing and new regulatory trends and drive the change management process for appropriate CUSO risk regulations.
· Support high priority regulatory and ad hoc projects across their lifecycle, developing solutions, communicating results, and training.
