Job description

Key Responsibilities:

The purpose of the Business analyst role is to provide strong support to the UK risk management and especially the UK Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
The role requires strong technical, design skills as well as scripting knowledge and analytical and communication skills.

The candidate will work in a team structure to provide support to other team members and especially UK CRO in his function. As a Senior Management Function (SMF), the CRO should demonstrate reasonable steps and governance structure for the effective management of the London Risk Department. In this sense, the candidate will need to review the framework included Governance, delegation, risk and controls, and technology. Support will also be required on the coordination of exchanges between the UK CRO and the UK regulation authorities.

The candidate will be in charge of reviewing the Risk management Policies and Procedures so they are kept up to date for the branch. More generally, updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and producing documentation and presentations for internal and external needs using a variety of multimedia applications. It includes providing weekly Risk report for the team and Senior Management.

The candidate will provide support to the counterparty risk team, contributing to production tasks in relation to credit limits implementation and certification of business files.

The candidate will work with the Senior Members of the team to participate in the development of automations of repetitive tasks, various operational risk reports and maintenance of databases.
The candidate will have to develop new functionalities by following the development and security standards and processes, perform the release of the project in production.
The candidate will define a framework to drive the maintenance of innovation tools deployed within UK RPC
It requires a sense of independence and ability to work within a challenging environment.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:
• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
• Complete any mandatory training in line with legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
• Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and propriety to perform the role.
• Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.
• Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator.
