Job description

Junior Trade Finance Sales

  • Assists the originators in marketing trade finance solutions to North American clients and all related x-sell opportunities
  • Contributes to preparation of marketing material:  term sheets, pitches, etc.
  • Help the ITB Credit Coordination team with regards to the timely preparation of early birds and credit requests
  • Contributes to the execution and follow-up of approved transactions (booking, portfolio monitoring, etc.)
  • Contributes to budget preparation and monitoring
  • Contributes to special projects as needed
  • Manage the pool of US Associate to make sure operations are running smoothly
  • Manage with issuance process and insure timely issuancesScope:

 Trade Finance products, including:

  • L/Cs and guarantees
  • Structured trade transactions
  • Receivables & Supply Chain Financing, including:
  • Receivables Financing
  • Supply Chain Financing
  • Export Finance products, including:
  • ECA backed loans
  • Insurance covered loans or commercial loans related to Exports
  • Inbound export related financings into the North American market
  • Cross-sell products, including:
  • Other ITB products: Transaction Banking (Cash management, Deposit & Supply Chain Financing)
  • Forex: e-Forex and Voice Forex (spot, forward and vanilla options)
  • Treasury products: Term deposits

 Main responsibilities

 

  • Supports ITB originators in all their needs to ensure successful origination and execution of transactions
  • Participates in client meetings as required, and prepares visit reports.
  • Contributes to preparation of term sheets, pitches and offers to clients.
  • Contributes to preparation and submission of BusCom memos to Committees in New York and Paris.
  • Contributes to the approval process from Compliance and Financial Security as required.
  • Contributes to the negotiation of documentation.
  • Liaise with AMO and other support teams as needed, to ensure that the booking and monitoring of signed transactions is adequate and complies with all internal rules and processes.
  • Act as back up to the lead originators on transactions

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Supports the preparation and monitoring of the budget
  • In general, complies with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements

Salary Range: $120k - 120k

    • Training / Specialization
    • Education and experience:
      • Education Required: Upper education & MBA/Masters.
      • Previous experience with ITB products through internship and/or VIE

      ·      +2 years of relevant experience
    • Minimum experience level
    • 3-5 years
    • IT tools
    •  ·      Good interpersonal and commercial skills.·      Team work.·      Have strong work ethics·      Initiatives, dynamism, effectiveness and commercial / technical skills in supporting its activities.·      Rigour and sense of organization·      Fluent in English (written and verbal) ·      Have credit experience.·      Have experience negotiating documentation with counsel.
