Job description

What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the Manager, individual will be responsible in managing the cash account opening related to client in line with the agreed SLA. Based on the request receive or logged by the onshore team, the team will liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of the set-up of the cash account. Individual to constantly seek opportunity to increase production accuracy for operations in Kuala Lumpur serving the hubs of different geographies like Luxembourg, Switzerland and Ireland. The role will support this region with working hours between 9.00AM up to 1:00AM CET depending on shift coverage.

What will you do?

  • Project management and execution for all change & transition related activity for new, add on, data migrations, restructures/in-species and lost business across custody (market openings), fund accounting, middle office and registry services.
  • Ensure adherence to the agreed target operating model and communicate/escalate changes of service/scope identified in the implementation.
  • Manages and owns the complete the complete client portfolio of change, including:
    • Works to understand through constructive discussions, the clients change requirements and documents the high-level scope.
    • Engaging where appropriate the resources and methodologies of the Client Solutions teams.
  • Accountable for the end-to-end implementation plan via the coordination of both internal and external parties (onshore and offshore).
  • Deliver standards to our clients and stakeholders for all activity with an aim to reduce transition costs and reduce client specific change activity (by leveraging standard models, ensuring client sign-off of activity, management and execution against the model and validation of service standards).
  • Implement all change and/or transition related activity in a structured way, measurable by outputs including (scope document, operating model, high level impact and issue/risk assessment, items log, implementation checklist and timeline and post implementation review) as per agreed timelines.
  • Management of client change/new business logs and associated tracking, reviewing them with clients and internal parties on a regular basis.
  • Management of the status of client-initiated projects with Client Solutions, Operations, I.T. etc. resulting from change requests.
  • Coordinates and executes change requests ensuring that they are in line with the differentiated service model defined for Coverage and mid-market clients.
  • Monitors and promptly escalates change requests or transition items which would lead to increased operational risk or reduced efficiency.

    • Training / Specialization
      • Relevant Securities Operations/financial services experience in Custody business
      • Proven track record in leading initiatives, project management and managing cross-functional relationships

    • Minimum experience level
    • 3-5 years
