You will be responsible on day-to-day processing of FX instructions through a dedicated FX Operations (FXO) function which comes under Market Solution. The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal stakeholders with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mind-set. You will be responsible to define an appropriate control and governance to support the operations and to meet the regulatory requirements, closely working with Risk, Compliance and Change programs to support group’s initiative as well as assist with Internal and External Audit and Regulatory requirements.
You will be supporting Europe team.
What will you do?
As a Senior Client Operations Officer, you will:
- Manage daily FX processing tasks, including input, verification, validation, and settlement of FX transactions.
- Ensure adherence to operating procedures, control frameworks, escalation protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver high accuracy and timeliness to provide superior client service.
- Monitor FX Operations team mailboxes and confirmations to address instructions and queries promptly.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a robust operating model and mitigate risks.
- Investigate and resolve FX breaks within agreed timelines.
- Share best practices within the team and report control weaknesses to management.
- Contribute to FX projects and initiatives with innovative ideas to enhance processes and controls.
