Overall Purpose of the role:

 

Within the ETF, Indexing & Smart Beta business line, the Capital Markets team is responsible for monitoring and improving the liquidity of the range of Amundi ETFs, and driving the trading ecosystem to provide an efficient execution for our investors.

The Platform Management team is a multicultural team operating out of London and Paris. It is specifically in charge of supporting the trading landscape of Amundi ETFs by improving the Primary and Secondary Market liquidity, and by ensuring strong support from market participants, Authorised Participants (APs) and liquidity providers. The team also looks after the listing strategy and implementation for the range of Amundi ETFs.

As a Capital Markets Specialist within the Platform Management team, the role holder will act as a subject matter expert on all aspects of ETF liquidity and trading. They are expected to play a key role in supporting the core functions of the Capital Markets team, use their expertise to improve investors’ experience, and accompany the development and growth of Amundi ETFs.

Main Accountabilities:

Support the Platform Management team in its core missions:
Primary Market: oversee, manage and improve Primary Market to minimise risk and improve efficiency
Secondary Market: improve and monitor Secondary Market liquidity on the Amundi ETF range
Range Management: oversee the product-lifecycle on trading- and liquidity-related aspects

The role holder is expected to work alongside the team and to participate fully in all relevant day-to-day tasks to meet these missions. The role holder will be able to add value by bringing their skills to the role and to drive the implementation of best practices.

      Job qualifications and Skills 
      • Bachelor degree; 5-year degree preferred
      • Capital Markets experience strongly preferred
      • Outstanding knowledge of financial markets and pricing dynamics across instruments and asset classes
      • Sound understanding of the drivers of ETF liquidity
      • Proficient with Bloomberg, VBA and Excel
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills
      • Adaptability, autonomy, rigor and resilience
      • Drive, focus, and efficient time management

Responsibilities may vary from time to time as directed by the role’s manager. The role holder will adhere to FCA rules and principles and the Firm’s policies and procedures.  Where appropriate, the role holder will seek guidance from Head of Compliance. Languages : Fluent English required; French or another European language a plus Location: The position is based in London, with expected travel to the Paris HQ on a regular basis.Travel to other European countries will be necessary on occasions. Total expected travel = 20%
