Job description

Duties and Responsibilities


1. Contribute to the implementation at CACI of the management control framework under different accounting standards.
2. The collection, production and delivery of reporting for the Management Control division of CAA and towards Business Units at Group.
3. Supplementary reporting and analysis of business to management, committees, departments of CACI and to the group CAA.


The scope of activities for this position is described below.

  • Participating in quarterly closings for the management reporting:
    o Support in understanding the Management Control guidelines and reporting requirements.
    o Consolidate the quarterly results from the production teams and communicate to Group Management Control teams whilst utilising their software tool.
    o Contribute to the production of the deliverables for the different governance bodies and committees (Board meetings and Board committees, Dublin Management Committees, Financial committees, CFO reviews, steering committees, Senior country executive committees, etc.).
    o Build and maintain the analysis allowing to split the P&L of CACI by segment and countries.
  • Participation in the Planning and Controlling process, contributing to the preparation of the Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecasts and Quarterly review of budget for Management Control, Business Units and Group.
    o Support in the consolidation and communication of the quarterly forecasts.
    o Liaise with counterparts in Management Control in Paris / Lille to collect Group recharges and details for the budgets and forecasts.
    o Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts process by collecting and consolidating the inputs from departments in respect of internal and group deadlines.
    o Analyse and challenge results.
    o Delivery to Group using their software tool system.
  • Following CACI’s business volumes and activity for analysis and communication to CACI’s stakeholders (CFO, Branches, Group)
    o Ensure the production of the different management reporting and dashboard (activity and results).
    o Consolidate, analyse and report the data related to activity and results allowing the good understanding of the target audience.
    o Contribution to the preparation of Dashboards and KPIs to support the Senior Management and other Stakeholders.

The Management Accountant will report to the Financial Controller in Dublin.

    Minimum level of study
    Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    Training / Specialization
    • Minimum 3 year’s professional experience, in the financial services sector (insurance, banking).

    • Experience in financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
    • Ability to adapt to the main accounting norms applicable to insurance activities, especially insurance liabilities: IFRS17, Irish and Italian GAAP.
    • Knowledge of at least one of the main market accounting systems.
    • Efficiency in Microsoft applications.
    • Good understanding of insurance performance drivers would be an advantage.
    Minimum experience level
    3-5 years
    Languages
    Fluency in English and ideally French.
