Job description

The Account Manager drives business development by identifying growth opportunities, formulating strategic plans, and negotiating budgets with partners. Through market analysis and competitor assessment, they actively contribute to new product creation. The role involves coordinating tailored training programs, commercial plans, and fostering partnerships. Additionally, the Account Manager plays a vital role in animating partnerships, monitoring business results, and providing crucial support to bank insurance specialists. Effective collaboration with CACI teams in Milan and Dublin ensures seamless coordination and timely responses to partner needs.

Duties and responsibilities
 

Commercial Development/Prospecting

  • Identifies and proposes development opportunities
  • Proposes and builds up commercial and key leverage plans according to pre-defined objectives
  • Participates in developing and negotiating annual business development plans and budgets with partners
  • Conducts exploratory market studies to identify development opportunities
  • Gathers information on the existing contracts and financial conditions of partners
  • Contributes to the presentation/formalisation of offers to potential partners in accompanying CACI teams (Milan and Dublin)
  • Develops reporting on activities carried out and performances achieved
     

Market/Product Watch

  • Provides key contribution to the new product creation process
  • Analyses competitors, playing a permanent role in strategic watch
  • Identifies distribution channels, partners and potential service providers
     

Relationship with Partners

  • Oversees and develops the relationship with Partners on all aspects of collaboration
  • Assesses partners’ regional results and develops tailored annual training programmes
  • Performs training on processes and products to partner networks and territorial managers
  • Proposes commercial plans to territorial areas, territorial managers and branches
  • Develops and plans business training schedule, coordinating training sections with Partners
  • Performs Partner oversight
  • Monitors business results
  • Advises bank insurance specialists in managing medical subscriptions as well as ensuring prompt customer assistance after sale
  • Selects CAI inquires to facilitate CACI Dublin response as required
  • Monitors CACI Dublin and CAI Italy processes to ensure a timely and effective support to the partners network

Distribution network training

  • Organizes, manages and coordinates training sessions to partners, in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Develops and delivers training materials for various scopes (e.g., launch of new products, implementation of new regulations)
  • Coordinates and conducts training sessions
  • Collaborates with distributors and external providers to build and deliver online training modules
  • Develops internal reporting on the training provided

    • Minimum level of study
    • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    • Training / Specialization
    • Education: Business School/University
      Experience: 3 to 5 years professional experience in the financial sector (banking, insurance, insurance brokering)
    • Minimum experience level
    • 3-5 years

      • Knowledge of bank-insurance products (life and non-life)
      • Specialisation in PPI/Creditor Insurance and advantage
      • Flexibility and ability to work on multiple activities

    • Fluency in Italian, fluency in English and/or French language an advantage
