Job description

The ETF (Exchange-Traded Funds) Service Department manages the order lifecycle of the subscriptions and redemptions on ETFs. High quality of service is expected to help clients reach their financial goals. 

This position will:

  • Be a member of the ETF Business Line and be part of the operational teams interacting with Authorised Participants and client Capital Market teams.
  • Act as a direct point of contact for clients 
  • Acquire and maintain strong knowledge of the ETF specificities on order calculation and settlements. Deliver operational excellence and best-in-class solutions.

What will you do?

  • Acting as a member of the team in charge of primary market trading cost (PMTC), calculation & preparation, including reviewing the relevant component stocks, quantity and prices;
  • ETF creation and redemption order processing for the primary market; gathering the required knowledge for all aspects of the lifecycle of order processing from submission to settlement and cash true up;
  • Ensuring all documented procedures and adequate controls are adhered to and periodically updated;
  • Act as a point of contact for Authorised Participants (AP’s) and the client capital market team – communication of system enhancement;
  • Handling AP inquiries related to the ETF creation / redemption orders;
  • Proactively working with ETF issuers and AP’s (counterparties) to ensure efficient trade settlement involving both ETF creations and redemptions;
  • Acquire knowledge and understanding of the issuance models (ICSD / ICSD+…);
  • Production and validation of cash contract notes for ETFs;
  • Active participation in team meetings, discussing operational and service enhancements;
  • Involvement in projects as they arise
  • Production  of KPIs;
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Composition File (PCF) and its importance for ETFs a plus;
  • Ensuring excellent service delivery to the clients with an emphasis on reactivity;

    • A business graduate or similar / relevant qualification
      ·        2+ years’ experience - FA, TA or Custody experience·        Understanding of ETF Capital Market requirements a plus·        Knowledge of ETF funds services and processes a plus·        Self-starter
