Within Asia Operations, the Securities team is responsible for processing and managing the risk relating to securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate action (income, cash) and asset creation and maintenance.

The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:

  • The processing and controls of the processes within the Securities function;
  • Ensuring efficiency and productivity in delivery quality services to Azqore’s clients;
  • Working closely with his/her colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily BAU

  • Successful applicant will be assigned to functions within the Asia Securities Operations team, including asset data management, settlements & derivatives and/or transfers. Understanding of the core system and process workflow are essential;
  • There is an expectation that he/she understands the relevant market markets and demonstrate front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) he/she is handling;
  • Proactively manages and resolves discrepancies, relating to the functions he/she is responsible for, with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and abroad.

Others

  • Participates to Azqore Asia Operations projects, proactively drives and implements process enhancement and improvements, where necessary.

    • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    • Training / Specialization
    • Bachelor degree, and / or professional qualification in Banking / Finance
      3-5 years of relevant experience in Settlements, Derivatives and/or Asset Transfer processes. Experience in Private Banking is a plus.

    • Core competenciesThe Banking Operations Associate should develop around the following capabilities:
      • Familiar with financial products as well as the market infrastructures, regulations and operational risks;
      • Knowledgeable about SWIFT messages types;
      • Good knowledge and practice of Office suite. Excel VBA macro knowledge is a plus;
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
      • Ability to collaborate, especially cross border;
      • Rigorous and detail oriented;
      • Results oriented, adaptable and resilient;
