Job description

- Structure, market and originate Trade Finance business at large for CACIB Taiwan with special emphasis on:
1. Corporate Trade Finance activities: Provide support to Corporate coverages, develop Trade Finance business to be generated by import and export operations, maximize Trade Finance portfolio’s revenues/returns. Corporate are the key clients for the Trade Finance activities of CACIB Taiwan.
2. Trade Finance business with banks: Forfaiting, LC refinancing, discounting of drafts, Trade Finance general agreement with Taiwanese banks for asset distribution/risk participation, and provide assistance to local banks for import and export operations.
3. Close work with regional distribution center in Singapore to support asset distribution to local Taiwanese banks (funded and unfunded).
4. Coordination of Trade Finance activities with the international network of CACIB, including Paris HQ, other branches of Credit Agricole CIB (worldwide offices), and other Credit Agricole Group’s subsidiaries (LCL, foreign based subsidiaries …), for:
• Outbound activities: Trade Finance business directed by Taiwan to other branches in the group.
• Inbound activities: Trade Finance flows channeled to Taiwan by the group network and other referrals.
- Develop the Trade Finance portfolio of CACIB Taiwan.
- Vested with a specific Trade Finance budget and the responsibilities in this respect (revenue targets, follow-up, etc…)
- Coordinate with other departments in Credit Agricole CIB Taiwan for issues related to Trade Finance activities, including liaison with Middle / Back Offices to ensure smooth and satisfactory handling of the Trade Finance transactions, while assist them when necessary for any commercial issues.
- Provide expert and technical support within CACIB network and to other CACIB Taiwan departments, when in need, for specific and large-size transaction (including syndication of large guarantees).
- Review and negotiate documentation / agreements / guarantees.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, annual reports and related materials.

    • REQUIREMENTS
      1. 5-10 years of experience, preferably related to trade finance or coverage, and with experience in cash a plus
      2. Analytical skill, knowledge in various industries
      3. Motivated, proactive, good communicator, innovative, detailed, and team oriented
      4. Fluent in English speaking, writing, listening, and reading
      5-10 years of experience, preferably related to trade finance or coverage, and with experience in cash a plus
