Job description

MAIN FUNCTION: The development and maintenance of new and existing partner relationships within area of responsibility

Participation in the development of a pan perimeter marketing strategy and associated product development in Germany related to the International FOS sphere of operations

REPORTING TO: Senior Account Manager Germany

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The development and maintenance of new and existing partner relationships

  • To develop and maintain close working relationships with key individuals within each business partner
  • To seek new partnerships with credit companies, distributors and banks in the areas of CACI's product portfolio as appropriate
  • To regularly meet, monitor and report upon the commercial activity of our partners within each Country 
  • To keep abreast of legal, contractual, customer care obligations and other requirements within the local markets and to liaise with Compliance & Control colleagues as appropriate
  • Participate in the planning, budgeting and strategic aspects of the International FOS insurance activity

Propose, negotiate and implement product development, marketing and commercial activity relating to Insurance products with each partner

  • Develop New Product Request Forms in conjunction with our business partners for presentation to the Underwriting Team for pricing
  • Present New Product Pricing Proposals prepared by the Underwriting Team to business partners and negotiate successful launch activities and campaigns
  • Participating in developing and negotiating annual business development plans and budgets with partners
  • Participating in developing forecasting of premium income and commercial investments to coincide with the business development plans of each partner
  • Implementing development initiatives and projects by utilising the internal expertise of CACI as appropriate and with external partners/agencies as necessary to achieve a successful launch

Participation in the development of a pan perimeter marketing strategy and product development

  • Attend regular Marketing and Development meetings to contribute towards the strategic reflections of the department and the wider insurance business
  • Monitor and report upon changes in consumer, legal, technological and political environments affecting partner’s credit and insurance activities
  • Assist in the translation of the Insurance Division’s strategic objectives into actions for implementation with our partners
  • Implement cross fertilisation of best practice through information sharing, seminars, meetings and actions plans

Participate in insurance training and marketing support in collaboration with the Partner

  • Build the insurance training and examination materials on both insurance and sales soft skills in collaboration with the Partner.
  • Participate in onsite training programmes on an ad-hoc basis, with trainers and salesforces networks in Germany as necessary.

    • Minimum level of study
    • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    • Training / Specialization
    • Experience and Qualifications
      • 5 years professional experience, in the financial services sector (financial protection, insurance brokering, consumer finance, retail banking).
      • Specialisation in PPI/Creditor Insurance an advantage

      2. Colleagues within Credit Agricole Insurance divisions in France, Ireland and local countries as appropriate
