Job description

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about Financial Markets and Trading and keen to gain international experience through an assignment of 24 months in Ireland.

 

Why this role is important to us

Amint Ireland consists of 15 traders and covers multi asset trading. It is the main global hub for America’s asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives), FX and EM Fixed Income hub. It also carries out Securities Lending and Collateral Trading.

 

What you will be responsible for

The role will allow you to work alongside FX Dealers/Traders and will consist primarily in providing them with desk Assistance in their daily tasks such as (List non exhaustive):

  • Check pre-confirmations and book OTC options. Access to Alto Trading and ability to book trades opened by traders
  • Instruct MO team to exercise/expire FX options. Access to spot market data + NDF fixings
  • Book NDF fixings in the OMS. Access to market data for USD fixings + spot market for non-USD NDFs
  • Investigate trade mismatches queries received from MO and rebook trades when required. Access to Alto Trading and ability to book trades opened by traders, FxAll blotter read access, IB chats, FXGO read-only access
  • Follow up on IT developments, participation in testing new functionalities
  • Help prepare material for client presentations, RFP answers, broker committees, and broker reviews
  • Onboarding of new portfolios: follow up progress of onboarding ensuring enough counterparties are ready to trade, liaising with internal onboarding teams and counterparties when required, checking trading constraints are in place if applicable.
  • Help improve the onboarding of counterparties and mapping in trading platforms on existing stock of portfolios
