Job description

CACI (Credit Agricole Creditor Insurance) is the Credit Agricole Assurances Group subsidiary specialising in creditor protection insurance (CPI).

CACI is a major player in France and Europe, with around 30 partners in six countries.
Since its establishment in 1999, and move into the Credit Agricole Assurance Division in 2008, CACI has been extending its business in partnership with retail banking and specialised financial services companies. Today CACI offers a comprehensive range of products designed to meet the “Financial Protection” needs of its customers and partners.

This role reports directly to the Finance Manager - Technical accounts and the Management Control Planning Analyst and provides exposure to a wide range of activities and projects, which are key to ensuring our success.


To undertake and provide assistance in various accounting duties including:
 Verify accurateness, reliability and completeness of technical data.
 Assist in the preparation of monthly technical accounts.
 Assist in the preparation of third party administrator fees and insurance premium tax calculations.
 Assist in the preparation of reinsurance accounts.
 Assist in two key projects (i) new technical accounting system and (ii) Group IFRS17.
 Preparation of account reconciliations.
 Maintain and update Departmental procedures.
 Provide support to the accounts payable and accounts receivable.
 Prepare regular update of the underlying reserving data.
 To be back-up of the fellow colleagues team leader in situation of absence.
 Participating in the improvement of processes and deliverables

To undertake and provide assistance in management control activities:
 Participating in quarterly closings for the management reporting
 Participation in the Planning and Controlling process, contributing to the preparation of the Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecasts and Quarterly review of budget for Contrôle de Gestion, Business Units and Group
 Following CACI’s business volumes and activity for analysis and communication to CACI’s stakeholders (CFO, Branches, Group)
 Participating in quarterly closings for the management reporting
 Participation in the Planning and Controlling process, contributing to the preparation of the Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecasts and Quarterly review of budget for Contrôle de Gestion, Business Units and Group
 Following CACI’s business volumes and activity for analysis and communication to CACI’s stakeholders (CFO, Branches, Group)

External Relations
 Develop and then maintain good relationships with other key stakeholders;
 Liaise closely with line Manager.
 Maintain good relationship with auditors – external and internal
 Work closely with business partners and third party administrators
