Job description

Asia Operations provide operational capabilities to Azqore’s client banks, allowing them to focus on executing their strategy, reduce operational cost and improve operational risk.  

Within Asia Operations, the Cash team is responsible for the processing of cash remittances, FX/MM and FX/MM derivatives, including the reconciliation of confirmations (trade contracts). In addition, the team is also in charge of cash management of secondary cash accounts.  

The Cash Operations Associate is part of the Asia Operations department and works closely with internal and external stakeholder

Responsibilities

1. Daily BAU

  • Responsible and involved in the processing and controls of the Cash team, as assigned to the candidate;
  • Ensure that such processing occurs in a timely manner and accounted for accurately in the system;
  • Ensure that issues are escalated in a timely manner;
  • Potential cross training to other processes, where opportunities arises;
  • Close collaboration with colleagues within and across teams, locally and abroad, to provide clients with learnt technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner.

2. Others

  • Participates to Azqore Operations-wide projects and other process improvement initiatives, where possible.

    • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
    • Training / Specialization
      • Familiar with financial products (Remittances, FX/MM, FX/MM Derivatives, such as various exotic option types, IRS, CCS, OIS and REPO).  

      • Knowledge and experience in banking operations, in particular with FX/MM products, is a plus.
