Job description

The team International Trade & Transaction Banking (ITB) works closely with multinational corporate clients and some upper level Italian mid-caps.

Their key responsibilities of ITB Italy include:

Origination, structuring/ arranging and implementation of cross-border export & trade financing concepts in close co-operation with the geographical and industry sector teams and with the local teams in charge of the import region and the Italian export credit agencies (SACE). Cash Management and Supply Chain Financing transactions in close cooperation with the Product line at Head Office level and the local teams of the other countries of CA group network.

Co-responsibilities also comprise financial and legal due diligence/review of transaction documentation, preparation of credit applications and execution of the transaction (until financial close)  

Developing existing clients’ relationships.

As a support to the team dealing with all the activities above, the involved will be involved in preparing commercial pitches, running cost simulations and profitability calculations, writing up financial offers, drafting credit committees (and financial analysis of companies, if needed).

The apprentice will deal with an international, challenging and rapidly changing environment, which requires multi-tasking skills, relational skills, capabilities to work with time management and to respect strict deadlines. This work experience offers a strong cross-perspective as daily activities will require a constant interaction with most other sectors of the Bank and it will provide the apprentice with an opportunity to improve his/her knowledge of the financing and credit process from the point of view of one leading investment bank.

    • Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent
    • Training / Specialization
    • Strong academic track record (Master of Science preferably in the areas of Corporate Finance and/or Finance)
      Good knowledge of financial analysis, including credit
    • Minimum experience level
    • 0-2 years
